The Bang Bang Club makes it's debut at Cannes

The Bang Bang Club, a Canadian and South African co-production, tells the story of the four photographers during apartheid made its debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. by Nadia Neophytou

The film is a look into the lives of the four photographers belonging to The Bang Bang Club, though its central focus lies with Greg Marinovich played by Ryan Philippe.

“I thought it was really well done and I was interested to find it was based on a true story going into it,” said one man who saw the film.

The film’s release in South Africa is being finalised but it is believed to hit the big screen a few months.
