Any editor with less than five years industry experience as an editor is invited to fill in the entry form at www.generalpost.co.za. Director Wednesday, from 7Films, will be shooting the PSA in Cape Town on 22 October 2010. All camera, lights and grips equipment will be sponsored by Media Film Services, Cape Town.
The offline footage will be made available on disc from pick-up points at 7Films in Cape Town and General Post’s Offices in JHB from the 29th October 2010. Entrants must then submit their completed edit to General Post on disc via the below pick-up/drop-off points.

10 finalists will be chosen and will each receive the opportunity to have an approval in the Aces Up edit suite alongside the agency, director and client. The 10 finalists will all get the opportunity to grade their completed edit at The Bladeworks. The winner will then be chosen.
Approvals will take place from Monday 22nd - Friday 26th November at Aces Up (www.acesup.co.za), and grades from Monday 29th – Friday 3rd November at The Bladeworks (www.bladeworks.co.za) – both in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The winner of the competition will be announced and the winning PSA screened at an event at the Maximillen Restaurant, Da Vinci Hotel in Sandton on the 14th of December 2010.
