US TV network ABC will in October start broadcasting a cooking show that began as part of YouTube’s “Original Channels” initiative, the first such deal to take a YouTube-funded programme to national TV.

Riding on the excitement of the new Bond film, Skyfall, Heineken has a James Bond themed ad, featuring Daniel Craig. The global TV and digital campaign will be activated across 32 markets and involves the participation of the film's stars, Daniel Craig and the latest Bond girl, Bérénice Marlohe.

One of the studio executives who will make the decision regarding sequels to the upcoming Judge Dredd adaptation Dredd 3D said in an interview over the weekend that one or more sequels to the film are a real possibility. By Russ Burlingame
