Silwerskermfees 2015: Here are the Winners

The Silwerskermfees held on Saturday, 29 August in Cape Town was a huge success with the film Sink garnishing 4 Awards and Shoki Mokgapa receiving the Best Actress Award for her role in Sink. Over the past five years the Silwerskerm Film Festival has become a respected festival within the local film industry.

The festival not only aims to provide broader exposure for South African films, but also creates an opportunity for both established and aspirant filmmakers to take part in lively dialogue and debate during the festival. It is through these opportunities that the Silwerskerm Film Festival strives to encourage innovative collaborations between artists and in so doing, to nurture and embrace the future of the South African film industry.

Congratulations to the Winners!
